Seasonal Grain Operations Belleville, WI
Description Seasonal Grain Operations We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Seasonal Grain Operator to support daily grain handling operations during harvest and peak seasonal periods. This position is responsible for receiving, grading, handling, storing, and loading grain while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. Key Responsibilities Receive, unload, and load grain from trucks and railcars.
Operate grain handling equipment, including conveyors, legs, augers, and related machinery.
Assist with grain sampling, grading, and quality control procedures.
Monitor grain conditions and storage facilities.
Perform housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance of equipment and facilities.
Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and operational procedures.
Accurately complete required documentation and records.
Assist with additional operations and facility tasks as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred.
Ability to work extended hours, weekends, holidays, and overtime during peak harvest seasons.
Strong work ethic, dependability, and attention to detail.
Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and in varying weather conditions.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Preferred Previous grain handling, agriculture, manufacturing, or equipment operation experience.
Mechanical aptitude and basic maintenance skills. Physical Requirements Frequent standing, walking, bending, climbing, and lifting.
Ability to work in dusty environments and varying outdoor weather conditions.
