This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, develop farming skills, and be a vital part of a thriving agricultural environment. retired folks that can operate heavy machinery and can are encouraged to apply also Duties Assist with livestock handling and animal husbandry, ensuring animals are fed, watered, and cared for according to health standards Operate farm machinery such as tractors, forklifts, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently Perform routine maintenance, repair, and servicing of farm equipment and machinery using hand tools, power tools, welding, and mechanical knowledge Support crop cultivation activities including planting, irrigation management, greenhouse work, and horticulture tasks Conduct manual handling tasks such as lifting heavy loads, moving supplies, and maintaining farm infrastructure Implement safety protocols during all activities to promote a secure working environment for yourself and team members Assist with fencing repairs, equipment repairs, welding projects, and general farm maintenance to ensure operational efficiency Experience Previous experience working on a farm or in agriculture is highly preferred Demonstrated knowledge of farm machinery operation including tractors, forklifts, and other heavy equipment Hands-on experience with livestock management and animal care including livestock handling and animal husbandry practices Mechanical skills related to equipment repair, maintenance, welding, and MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) tasks Outdoor work experience in varying weather conditions with a focus on safety standards in production environments Familiarity with irrigation systems, greenhouse operations, horticulture techniques, and animal husbandry practices Ability to perform heavy lifting safely along with manual handling tasks requiring physical strength and stamina Basic math skills for measurements and record keeping related to farm activities Join us in cultivating a productive environment where your skills make a tangible difference!
