Assist with safe transfers and positioning, including Hoyer lift use when needed and properly trained. Take and record vital signs. Observe and report changes in a client's condition to the supervising RN. Provide medication reminders within the permitted scope of the assignment. Follow standard precautions and infection-control procedures in the home. Complete accurate daily care notes after each visit. Provide respectful, dependable and compassionate one-on-one support. Qualifications Active Maryland CNA certification in good standing. Current CPR and First Aid certification. Physical examination and two-step TB/PPD screening. Ability to safely lift, position and transfer clients. Reliable transportation. Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to client care. Helpful Experience Experience in home care, assisted living, nursing home or hospital settings is helpful. Experience with older adults, dementia or memory care, or individuals with developmental disabilities is also valuable. Schedule Day, evening, overnight and weekend shifts are available.
