Our team of growers are a vital part of our company and are responsible for caring for the plants until they are mature enough to be sold to our customers. Position Summary The Assistant Grower supports the Head Grower in the daily execution of crop care practices to ensure plants are grown to specification and meet Ready Week requirements. This role is responsible for general plant maintenance, including irrigation, pruning, weed management, greenhouse sanitization, and preparing houses for crop placement and spacing. The Assistant Grower actively monitors crop health and development throughout the entire plant life cycle. This position is responsible for handling and applying chemicals and fertilizers as directed by the Head Grower, including crop protection products such as insecticides and fungicides, in accordance with established protocols and safety standards. The Assistant Grower monitors insects and diseases, identifies on-spec versus off-spec plants, and applies appropriate corrective actions for off-spec material. All chemical and fertilizer applications must be accurately recorded, and crop dump rates and reasons for dumping are documented and reported. Maintain Records and Communicate Effectively:

The Assistant Grower is responsible for accurately recording all chemical and fertilizer applications, as well as reporting crop dump rates and reasons for dumping.
