Farm Services Specialist Basil's Boutique Bandanas & Pet Sitting Services, LLC Basil's Boutique is looking for a dependable, compassionate, and responsible Farm Services Specialist to join our growing pet care team! This position is ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys working with animals and is comfortable providing hands-on care in a variety of farm and homestead environments. As a Farm Services Specialist, you will provide reliable, professional care for clients' farm animals while they are away. You will be responsible for following individualized care instructions, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and ensuring each animal receives the attention and care they need. Responsibilities Provide in-home farm and livestock care while clients are traveling or away Feed and provide fresh water to animals according to individualized instructions Care for a variety of farm animals, which may include chickens, ducks, goats, sheep, pigs, horses, and other small livestock Collect eggs and perform other routine farm-care tasks as requested Clean feeding areas, stalls, coops, pens, and other animal areas as needed Safely let animals in and out of designated areas when applicable Monitor animals for any changes in behavior, appetite, appearance, or overall well-being Follow detailed care instructions provided by each client Communicate promptly with the Basil's Boutique team regarding any concerns or unexpected situations Provide clients with updates and photos of their animals during visits Maintain a professional and respectful presence on clients' properties Safely travel between scheduled farm-care appointments Maintain accurate visit notes and documentation through our scheduling and pet-care management system Represent Basil's Boutique with professionalism, kindness, and exceptional customer service What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is: Dependable, responsible, and trustworthy Comfortable working independently Confident and comfortable around farm animals Attentive to detail and able to follow specific care instructions Physically capable of performing routine farm-care tasks Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions Able to recognize when an animal may need additional attention or veterinary care A strong communicator who responds promptly to the team and clients Comfortable using a smartphone and mobile scheduling applications Able to manage multiple scheduled visits throughout the day Someone who genuinely loves animals and takes pride in providing exceptional care Previous farm, livestock, veterinary, agricultural, or professional animal-care experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
