Approximately 20-25 hours per week initially, with the opportunity to transition into a full-time position as production expands. About Us Chaos Cannabis is a licensed New York cannabis manufacturer focused on producing high-quality cannabis products with an emphasis on consistency, compliance, and craftsmanship. As our business grows, we're looking for dependable team members who take pride in producing premium products and want to grow alongside the company. Position Summary The Cannabis Production Technician assists with the manufacturing, packaging, labeling, and preparation of cannabis products in a regulated production environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, pays close attention to detail, and takes pride in producing a quality finished product. No cannabis experience is required—we are happy to train the right individual. Responsibilities- Assist in the production of cannabis products according to established procedures.
- Package, label, and prepare finished products for distribution.
- Assemble and inspect products to ensure quality and consistency.
- Maintain accurate production and inventory records.
- Follow all safety, sanitation, and compliance procedures.
- Clean and sanitize production equipment and workspaces.
- Assist with receiving, organizing, and tracking inventory.
- Perform quality control checks throughout the production process.
- Support additional production and operational tasks as needed. Qualifications
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Comfortable performing repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable working in a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Previous manufacturing, food production, warehouse, or cannabis experience is a plus, but not required. Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to perform repetitive hand movements and fine motor tasks.
- Ability to work safely around production equipment. Schedule & Requirements
- Monday-Friday daytime schedule (hours may vary based on production needs).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Reliable transportation to our Liverpool facility is required.
- Background check may be required in accordance with company policy and applicable regulations. Compensation & Growth
- Starting wage of $20.00 per hour.
- Approximately 20-25 hours per week initially.
