Licensed Recreational Cannabis Cultivation Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced, dependable, and highly motivated Cultivation Lead to join our recreational cannabis cultivation operation in Salem, Oregon.

The Cultivation Lead will take an active role in the day-to-day management of the cultivation facility, helping ensure healthy plants, consistent production, efficient workflows, and a clean and organized growing environment. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who understands commercial cannabis cultivation and is comfortable both working directly with plants and a cultivation team. The ideal candidate is organized, observant, proactive, and able to identify and address cultivation issues before they affect crop quality or production.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily cultivation activities. Maintain plant health throughout all stages of the cultivation cycle. Manage and monitor irrigation, feeding, environmental conditions, and plant development. Coordinate transplanting, pruning, training, defoliation, harvesting, and other cultivation activities. Monitor plants for pests, disease, nutrient deficiencies, environmental stress, and other potential issues. Maintain clean and sanitary grow rooms, equipment, tools, and work areas. Help develop and maintain consistent cultivation schedules and standard operating procedures. Track plant progress and maintain accurate cultivation records. Monitor inventory of cultivation supplies and communicate purchasing needs. Assist with harvest planning and coordination. Work with ownership/management to improve yield, quality, consistency, and operational efficiency. Ensure cultivation activities are performed in accordance with applicable Oregon recreational cannabis regulations and facility procedures. Maintain accurate plant tracking and compliance documentation as requiredImmediately communicate crop, equipment, environmental, staffing, or compliance concerns to management.

Qualifications:

Preferred candidates will have previous commercial cannabis cultivation experience. Experience in a lead, supervisory, or cultivation management position. Strong understanding of cannabis plant health and lifecycle management. Knowledge of irrigation, nutrients, environmental controls, pest management, and cultivation techniques. Experience identifying nutrient deficiencies, pests, disease, and environmental problems. Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills. Ability to lead employees while remaining actively involved in daily cultivation workAbility to follow established procedures while identifying opportunities for improvement. Reliable attendance and strong communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to perform the physical requirements associated with commercial cultivation. Ability to meet all applicable Oregon requirements for working at a licensed recreational cannabis business.
