Ranch Hand — Part-Time or Full-Time Tussock Sedge Farm | Perkasie, PA 18944 $18-$25 per hour to start, based on experience | 25-40 hours per week Tussock Sedge Farm is hiring a ranch hand to help care for our animals, manage pastures, and maintain the farm. This is a hands-on, outdoor position for someone who is reliable, attentive to animal welfare, and comfortable with physical work in all seasons. We can offer a part-time schedule of at least 25 hours per week or a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week. We raise 100% grass-fed beef and pasture-raised chicken and turkey using regenerative practices. Our work includes daily animal care and rotational grazing across the land we manage in Bucks County. What you'll do Feed and care for cattle and poultry, including chicks and turkeys Help move animals and maintain pasture fencing Check animals, water systems, fences, and equipment Assist with hay, bedding, and other seasonal farm work Use hand and power tools for repairs, maintenance, and fence line clearing Operate tractors and other farm equipment when trained and qualified What we're looking for Dependable attendance and careful attention to animal care and safety Comfortable working around large cattle and farm equipment Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and work outdoors in varied weather A valid driver's license and reliable transportation to Perkasie Availability for a consistent schedule of at least 25-40 hours per week, including weekend work. Full time availability is preferred but we'll consider part time applicants as well. Farm or livestock experience is preferred. Tractor or other farm equipment experience is strongly preferred. We can teach many of our daily routines to someone who brings sound judgment, a willingness to learn, and a strong work ethic.
