Management experience in landscaping, excavation, construction, or a related field preferred About Us We are a growing small landscaping and excavation company looking for a motivated, dependable General Manager to help oversee and manage day-to-day operations. This is an important leadership position for someone who is organized, hands-on, and capable of keeping projects, employees, customers, and equipment running smoothly. Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the company Schedule and coordinate employees, crews, and projects Communicate with customers and provide excellent customer service Review job scopes and help coordinate materials, equipment, and labor Assist with estimating and project planning Manage and oversee job progress from start to completion Coordinate equipment and maintenance needs Help manage employees and hold crews accountable for quality and productivity Handle scheduling, job documentation, and other administrative responsibilities Identify issues in the field and find practical solutions Help maintain a safe and professional work environment Work closely with the owner to improve efficiency and grow the business Qualifications Previous management experience preferred Experience in landscaping, excavation, hardscaping, paving, or construction strongly preferred Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to manage multiple jobs and priorities Ability to communicate professionally with customers and employees Reliable, responsible, and self-motivated Strong problem-solving skills Valid driver's license Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Knowledge of equipment and construction practices is a plus What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who wants to take ownership of the position and become an important part of a growing company.
