About Us:

Lancaster Farms is a family-owned wholesale nursery that has been growing quality flowers, shrubs, and trees since 1969. We supply professional landscapers and horticulture businesses with quality plants, mulch, stone, and other landscape materials. We're looking for dependable Nursery Workers to join our production team.

Job Type:

Full-time, hours shift with the season.

Current hours:

7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Effective 10/5/2026: 8:00 AM - 4:30

PM What You'll Do:

You'll work outdoors with our plants, doing hands-on and equipment-assisted work such as: Planting, digging, mulching, and moving plants Mowing and watering plants in the nursery and holding houses Fertilizing, pruning, spacing, watering, and potting plants Loading, hauling, and unloading plants using wagons, trailers, and trucks Filling, lifting, and carrying pots of soil and plants, up to 70 pounds Handling plants carefully to avoid breaking leaves, limbs, or roots Picking out and harvesting plants that meet customer quality standards Operating equipment like small tractors, planters, blowers, weed eaters, and mowers, with or without direction Removing plastic covers from holding houses in spring and putting them back on in fall What We're Looking For Ability to do physical, hands-on work accurately and efficiently Willingness to learn plant care and quality standards Ability to lift and carry up to 70 lbs Comfortable working outdoors in all kinds of weather Reliable, hardworking, and able to work well with a team Experience with outdoor power equipment is a plus but not required Benefits Paid on-the-job training Employee discount Health insurance option Paid time off Overtime available (seasonal) If you enjoy hands-on outdoor work and want to join a well-established, family-owned nursery, we'd love to hear from you!
