We are seeking an experienced, dedicated Director of Cultivation to oversee all cultivation operations at a large-scale cannabis cultivation facility in South New Jersey This role will own crop production from clone through harvest, with responsibility for yield, quality, consistency, team performance, production scheduling, and cultivation costs . Our facility is a Class 1 NJ Cultivation licensed indoor cultivation, and operates on a 10-day harvest cycle . This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can set cultivation strategy while also being present in the rooms solving problems in real time. Responsibilities Oversee all cultivation operations up till harvest, including propagation, vegetative and flowering stages, and IPM Manage and lead the cultivation team, including hiring, training, scheduling, accountability, and performance Maintain consistent plant health, yield, quality, and production standards Manage production schedules to maintain a continuous 10-day harvest cycle Oversee environmental systems including HVAC, irrigation, lighting, CO2, nutrients, and crop steering Maintain cultivation SOPs and ensure compliance with NJ Cannabis Regulatory Commission requirements Track cultivation KPIs including yield, cycle times, labor efficiency, and production performance Work with finance to monitor labor, input costs, cost per gram, and cultivation-related COGS Manage relationships with cultivation vendors and suppliers Identify and implement process improvements to increase yield, improve quality, and reduce production costs Support future cultivation expansion and additional production capacity Qualifications 5+ years of commercial cannabis cultivation experience preferred 2+ years of leadership experience managing a cultivation team Strong technical knowledge of indoor cultivation, plant health, IPM, irrigation, environmental controls, and crop steering Experience managing a large-scale perpetual harvest operation strongly preferred Experience working in a licensed, regulated cannabis market; New Jersey experience preferred Working knowledge of METRC or similar seed-to-sale tracking systems Ability to understand and act on cultivation and production data Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to take full ownership of the cultivation department and maintain high quality standards Must be able to meet all applicable NJ CRC employment and background requirements Compensation & Benefits $90,000-$120,000 annually , commensurate with experience.
