Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Associate's Degree
• Motivation to contribute to scientific research
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs regularly
• Willingness to work occasional weekend or evening hours when needed (compensated at a higher rate)
• Able to travel occasionally for off-site work (possibly up to a couple of times a year, which would be compensated at a higher rate)
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Valid Oregon driver's license Helpful, but not required:
• Neuroscience experience
• Microscopy experience
• Anatomical experience

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform anatomical research procedures and laboratory work
• Perform cleaning responsibilities, including disinfecting workspaces
• Perform careful transport and respectful handling of anatomical donors
• Perform administrative duties, including phone calls to donors and their families
• Adhere to laboratory safety protocols
• Contribute to scientific paper writing
• Independently manage time

Wage for this position starts at $22.50-24.50/hr depending on experience, 40 hours/week. Drug test and background check will be required. Applicant must live in or near Salem. Open Dental Software is authorized to post positions and conduct interviews on behalf of Sparks Brain Preservation.
