Overview We are seeking a motivated Spa Maintenance Technician with Pool Certification to ensure the cleanliness, safety, and optimal operation of our aquatic facilities including repairs and maintenance to the facility. Duties Perform routine maintenance and repairs on pool plumbing systems, pumps, filters, and other pool equipment to ensure smooth operation. Conduct water treatment chemical handling and balancing to maintain safe and clean pool chemistry standards. Troubleshoot and repair pool equipment issues using hand tools, power tools, and mechanical knowledge. Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of pools through regular cleaning, skimming, brushing, and vacuuming. Monitor aquatic facility conditions daily, including water quality testing and chemical agent handling, adhering strictly to safety protocols. Operate company vehicles for equipment transport or maintenance tasks as needed. Document maintenance activities, chemical levels, repairs, and inspections accurately for compliance and reporting purposes. Business repairs and maintenance. Requirements Valid Pool Certification with demonstrated experience in pool maintenance and water treatment chemical handling. Strong mechanical knowledge related to pool plumbing systems and equipment troubleshooting. Experience working with aquatic facilities or similar outdoor environments preferred. Familiarity with pool chemistry balancing, cleaning techniques, and equipment repair. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and company vehicles safely and effectively. Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with staff and guests when necessary. Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions with outdoor work experience preferred. Prior service technician experience or maintenance background is highly desirable.
