Job Title:
Ride Operator Job Summary:
Ride Operators are responsible for the safe and efficient operation of amusement park rides. This role ensures all guests have a fun, safe, and enjoyable experience while adhering to park policies and safety standards.Job Responsibilities:
Operate only the rides you have been trained on and follow all operating procedures. Conduct thorough ride inspections and run a complete unloaded cycle before accepting passengers. Verify guests meet all ride requirements, including height, age, or other special restrictions. Ensure guests have valid hand stamps, armbands, or tickets before boarding. Assist in daily pre-opening ride inspections and maintain accurate inspection records. Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe at all times. Demonstrate a positive, cooperative attitude toward coworkers and guests. Perform additional duties as assigned.EducationExperience:
Currently attending high school (required) or possess a high school diploma or GED (preferred). Previous customer service experience (preferred).Knowledge, SkillsAbilities:
Strong willingness to learn and follow procedures. Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and meet objectives without supervision. Good communication and interpersonal skills.Physical Requirements:
Ability to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 25 lbs. consistently. Frequent bending, twisting, stretching, stooping, and reaching overhead. Standing and walking for extended periods on various surfaces, including uneven or hard flooring. Flexibility to work varying hours, including shifts up to 12 hours. Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and a wide range of temperatures.Safety Expectations:
Promote and practice safe work habits at all times. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. Comply with all company, state, and federal safety regulations.Benefits
