Kirksville:
The Center Aide is responsible for assisting in ensuring the delivery of services to Head Start children and their families is of the highest quality. This is accomplished by serving as an assistant in any area of the Head Start Program, including, but not limited to, custodial duties, assisting the education staff and center staff.
Employee Experience:
High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required. Must have reliable transportation and meet Missouri automobile liability minimum requirements. Maintain current First Aid and CPR certification. Knowledge of acceptable food storage, food preparation, and food service practices. Must pass a Child and Elder Care Worker screening. As a mandated reporter, must report any suspected cases of child abuse or neglect to the Missouri Child Abuse & Neglect hotline, following Missouri Law and current Agency procedures. Provide proof of yearly physical and TB test.
