Job Description
In search of: Teacher for a Waldorf inspired homeschool Co-Op pod in or near Skaneateles, New York / Syracuse, New York. I have recently relocated to Upstate New York with my partner and two children 4 and 6 and was searching for a Waldorf inspired school but couldn't find one nearby, so I decided to homeschool my two children. I'm looking to start a Waldorf Co-Op where I can drop off 1-2 days a week, since I also work freelance as a Creative Producer. I have always loved the Waldorf philosophy, we come from Malibu / Topanga area where we went to a beautiful, loving Waldorf preschool and really would like to start something new in this area, since there isn't anything like this. Looking to create a curriculum with a teacher with a rhythm that includes watercolor painting, natural dying, handwork (my daughter already knits and loves it) ceramics, cooking, baking, nature walks and foraging, herbalism etc. We already do a lot of this in our daily rhythm but would love to form a community with other like minded families where we could do all of this together in a peaceful and intentional way. There are beautiful nearby farms I would try to collaborate with and use their property. Please let me know if anyone knows of a teacher who would be interested in something like this in the Upstate NY area. Thank you!
