Warehouse Manager Position Summary 85°C Bakery Cafe is seeking an experienced and hands-on Dry Warehouse Supervisor to lead a team of seven or more warehouse employees. This position is responsible for maintaining safe, accurate, and efficient warehouse operations while ensuring that Safety, Quality, and People remain the highest priorities. The Dry Warehouse Supervisor oversees daily receiving, storage, inventory, order fulfillment, and shipping activities within a multi-temperature warehouse environment. The ideal candidate is a dependable leader who can coach employees, maintain inventory accuracy, resolve operational issues, and ensure products are properly received, stored, staged, and distributed to our stores. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership and Operations Lead, coach, motivate, and hold warehouse employees accountable for performance, accuracy, safety, and quality. Plan, organize, and monitor daily warehouse activities. Support monthly inventory, stock receiving, overseas container processing, storage planning, distribution, shipping logistics, building security, and purchasing of shipping materials. Coordinate with the Dry and Freezer teams to ensure pallets are properly wrapped, labeled, staged, and ready for distribution. Collaborate with vendors and internal departments to maintain smooth and consistent warehouse operations. Warehouse Safety and Equipment Maintain current forklift and electric pallet jack certification. Operate powered industrial equipment safely and properly. Enforce warehouse safety procedures and immediately address unsafe practices or conditions. Promote the company's core values of Safety, Quality, and People. WMS and Inventory Control Complete WMS transactions involving receiving, put-away, picking, shipping, and inventory adjustments. Review transaction histories and correct inventory discrepancies. Perform and oversee cycle counts and physical inventories. Investigate inventory variances and identify root causes. Maintain accurate lot and expiration-date records. Ensure FIFO procedures are consistently followed. Receiving and Shipping Accuracy Verify product descriptions, quantities, lot numbers, expiration dates, and applicable temperature requirements during receiving. Compare physical quantities against vendor invoices and receiving documents before posting inventory in WMS. Ensure products are received and stored in the correct warehouse locations. Verify items, quantities, pallet tags, and labels before staging or shipment. Investigate receiving and shipping discrepancies and implement corrective action. Confirm outbound orders are accurate and properly staged before release. Escalate product quality, temperature, inventory, or receiving concerns to warehouse leadership and the Quality Assurance team. Required Qualifications Previous warehouse leadership or supervisory experience. Experience leading and coaching warehouse employees. Current or obtainable forklift and electric pallet jack certification. Working knowledge of warehouse management systems. Experience with receiving, shipping, inventory control, cycle counting, and FIFO procedures. Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy. Ability to investigate discrepancies, identify root causes, and implement corrective action. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-temperature warehouse environment. This position requires moderate physical activity. Employees must have sufficient strength to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position including moderate lifting (up to 50 pounds), walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, and squatting. This position requires nearly continuous standing and walking, repetitive hand motions, and reaching overhead. Employees may be exposed to unusual elements including extreme temperatures of coolers and freezers.
