Erskine Mowing and More is hiring a hands-on Operations Manager to lead crews, coordinate daily work, and maintain quality across our HOA and residential maintenance routes and improvement projects. This role requires an experienced leader who can organize operations and work alongside the team at job sites throughout the service area. Responsibilities Manage daily operations, crew assignments, schedules, and job progress. Work alongside crews to complete projects, solve problems, and maintain productivity. Oversee HOA and residential landscape maintenance and inspect completed work. Build and repair wood fencing, gates, and other outdoor wood projects. Calculate material needs and coordinate tools, equipment, and supplies. Troubleshoot, repair, and install irrigation systems, including valves, controllers, sprinklers, and drip irrigation. Train employees and hold crews accountable for quality, attendance, productivity, and safe work practices. Manage the fleet of trucks, trailers, and equipment, including tracking maintenance and repair needs. Promptly report vehicle and equipment problems to management and coordinate approved repairs. Keep trucks, trailers, tools, and work areas clean and organized. Record clear job notes, photos, materials used, and follow-up needs in Jobber. Communicate progress, customer concerns, major repair needs, and recommendations for additional work to management. Requirements Experience supervising landscape, maintenance, or construction crews. Proven wood fencing and general woodworking experience. Strong irrigation troubleshooting, repair, and installation skills. Ability to measure accurately, calculate materials, and safely operate tools and equipment. Basic truck, trailer, and equipment maintenance knowledge. Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Willingness and ability to travel between job sites throughout the area from Paso Robles to Santa Maria. Ability to perform physical outdoor work and actively support crews in the field. Ability to maintain accurate digital records; Jobber experience is a plus. Pay and Bonuses Hourly pay based on experience and qualifications, with weekly team performance bonus opportunities based on productivity, workmanship, completion of scheduled work, and overall team results.
