Duties Operate commercial dishwashing equipment efficiently, ensuring all dishes, cookware, and utensils are cleaned to sanitation standards Manually handle and organize dirty and clean dishware, ensuring proper storage and disposal Assist with food preparation tasks when needed, including basic ingredient handling and setup Support food safety sanitizing procedures throughout the kitchen to prevent contamination Bypass or clear blockages in dishwashing machines and perform routine maintenance checks Buse tables and assist with light cleaning duties in dining areas to support overall cleanliness Follow all kitchen health and safety standards, including proper knife handling and heavy lifting techniques Experience Prior food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is key Familiarity with food safety management practices and sanitation procedures is advantageous Experience operating kitchen equipment such as dishwashers or other small appliances is a plus Knowledge of kitchen health and safety standards, including proper manual handling and food handling practices Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during busy service periods Previous banquet or catering experience can be beneficial but is not required; a positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team are essential Join us in creating a lively, fast-paced environment where your contributions keep our kitchens running smoothly!
