A Landscaping or Grounds Supervisor supervises the staff that provide landscaping for residences, parks, public gardens, college campuses or building or office park grounds. Supervises work to care for plants and trees, including mowing, trimming and planting, and work to repair driveways, walks, benches or other structures. Oversees equipment maintenance and transportation, and communicates with residential customers.
About the Position We are looking for an experienced and dependable Landscape Construction / Enhancements Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with landscape construction and outdoor improvement projects, including concrete, pavers, drainage systems, retention ponds, and flower installations . This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, has strong construction skills, pays attention to detail, and can work efficiently as part of a team. Key Responsibilities Install and repair concrete for landscape and outdoor projects Install pavers , walkways, patios, borders, and other hardscape features Install and maintain drainage systems Assist with the construction and maintenance of retention ponds Install flowers, plants, and seasonal color Prepare soil, beds, and areas for landscape installations Perform grading, excavation, and site preparation as needed Operate hand tools, power tools, and landscaping/construction equipment Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment Follow project plans, specifications, and safety procedures Maintain a clean and organized work area Work efficiently in outdoor conditions and varying weather Perform other enhancement and landscape construction duties as assigned Qualifications Previous experience in landscape construction, hardscaping, or enhancements Experience with concrete and paver installation Knowledge of drainage systems and retention ponds Experience with flower and plant installation Ability to use basic construction and landscaping tools Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work Reliable transportation and dependable attendance Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and quality of work Must follow company safety policies and procedures Preferred Experience Experience with any of the following is a plus: Concrete finishing Paver installation Retaining walls Drainage installation French drains Grading and excavation Retention ponds Irrigation Landscape bed installation Seasonal color/flower installation Skid steer, mini excavator, or other equipment operation What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is experienced, hardworking, reliable, and takes pride in their work .
