Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Golf Course Superintendent to lead our grounds maintenance team. In this vital role, you will oversee all aspects of golf course care, including turf management, landscaping, irrigation, and hardscape projects. Your leadership will ensure the range remains pristine, playable, and visually stunning, providing an exceptional experience for our members and guests. Responsibilities Manage daily operations of groundskeeping staff, including supervising crew members and assigning tasks effectively. Oversee lawn care, landscape maintenance, and landscaping activities to maintain optimal course conditions. Implement irrigation management strategies to ensure healthy turf and plant life across the course. Coordinate construction projects related to grounds improvements or new installations. Operate grounds maintenance equipment safely and efficiently, including company vehicles and specialized landscaping tools. Identify plants accurately to guide proper horticultural practices and tree care initiatives. Maintain high standards of outdoor work safety, ensuring compliance with all safety protocols during groundskeeping activities. Qualifications Proven supervising experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping roles with strong team management skills. Extensive knowledge of lawn care, turf management, landscape maintenance, and horticulture best practices. Hands-on experience with irrigation systems, hardscape installations, and outdoor construction projects. Ability to operate grounds equipment safely and efficiently; familiarity with ground maintenance machinery is essential. Demonstrated leadership qualities with excellent communication skills to motivate teams effectively. Prior outdoor work experience in golf course or similar large-scale landscape environments preferred. Pay:
$67,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
