Job Description
Scope of Responsibility:
The landscaping manager will plan, implement and maintain pristine landscaping and seasonal indoor and outdoor décor at the company's facilities.Supervisory Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate activities of the landscaping team, including assigning tasks, monitoring projects and training efforts.Position Requirements:

Qualifications are based upon education, resume and/or work experience. A valid driver's license in good standing for a minimum of 3 years. Prior management experience is required. Good oral and written communications skills (English). Good organizational skills with the ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and complete assigned tasks. Windows-based computer skills, familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel. Ability to travel to other Lampire facilities as needed. Must possess an eye for detail and take pride in work. Working knowledge of perennials, annuals, trees and shrubs and possess a passion for panting design. Ability to safely operate various types of power equipment (including, but not limited to, lawn mowers, trimmers, hedge trimmers, leaf blowers, and other landscaping equipment) and hand tools. Ability to perform all work (labor, tool use, equipment operation, etc.), and interact with others, in a safe and responsible manner. Essential Functions include (but are not limited to): Ensure grounds and facilities are maintained to established high standards to ensure the safety, function, condition, and appearance of Lampire's outside areas. Regular inspection of the grounds to ensure the highest standards of appearance and functionality. Manage inventory needed for daily work. Monitor costs of various landscaping projects. Manage greenhouse. Responsible for all seasonal decorations at multiple facilities. Perform seasonal maintenance including, but not limited to: snow removal and ground preparation. Other duties as assigned.Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required. An associate degree in Landscape Design or Horticulture preferred, but not required.Physical Requirements:
This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching at various times throughout the day. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time. Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions.Working Conditions:
Extremes of temperature, including heat in summer months and cold in winter months. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can vary from minimal to loud.
