Job Description

Waukesha Lawn Service is looking for an experienced, dependable Landscape Maintenance Foreman to lead a small crew completing lawn and landscape maintenance throughout the Waukesha County area. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in leaving properties looking their best, and is comfortable leading a crew while working alongside them. Our ideal candidate knows how to keep a team productive, communicate professionally with customers, and recognize the details that separate an average job from an excellent one. What You'll Do As a Landscape Maintenance Foreman, you will: Lead and work alongside a landscape maintenance crew Complete residential and commercial mowing, trimming, edging, and blowing Perform spring and fall cleanups Maintain landscape beds through weeding, pruning, deadheading, edging, and general cleanup Install mulch and complete other seasonal enhancement work Review daily routes and job instructions before leaving the shop Assign tasks and keep the crew working safely and efficiently Inspect completed work to ensure it meets company quality standards Safely operate and care for trucks, trailers, mowers, blowers, trimmers, and other equipment Communicate job progress, property concerns, equipment issues, and additional service opportunities to the office Provide courteous, professional service when interacting with customers Accurately document completed work, materials, and crew time What We're Looking For The right candidate will have: Previous professional lawn care or landscape maintenance experience Experience leading a crew or a strong ability to step into a leadership role Knowledge of proper mowing, trimming, edging, pruning, and cleanup techniques The ability to identify quality concerns and correct them before leaving a property A strong work ethic and dependable attendance Good communication and problem-solving skills The ability to work outdoors in changing weather conditions The physical ability to lift approximately 50 pounds and perform active outdoor work throughout the day A valid driver's license and a safe driving record The ability to drive a truck with a trailer Experience with commercial properties, zero-turn mowers, landscape bed maintenance, or snow and ice management is especially helpful.
