As an Irrigation Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting the Foreman and ensuring the successful execution of landscape projects. This position offers hands-on experience in both residential and public job sites, with opportunities to develop your skills in landscape construction, irrigation installation, and seasonal services such as snow removal. Responsibilities Assist the Foreman in supervising jobsite activities to ensure projects are completed efficiently and according to contract specifications. Perform landscape construction tasks, including the installation of hardscapes, softscapes, and irrigation systems. Maintain high standards of quality control, ensuring all work meets design and contract requirements. Promote and maintain jobsite safety and cleanliness, ensuring a well-organized work environment. Communicate effectively with the Project Manager regarding project challenges, material and equipment needs, and scheduling. Participate in snow removal services during the winter months to ensure client sites are safely maintained. Engage in ongoing training and assist with equipment maintenance during slower seasons. Collaborate with team members to promote effective teamwork and problem-solving on various job sites. Ensure all tools, materials, and equipment are properly loaded and secured before leaving job sites or the facility. Support the Foreman by helping oversee the safe conduct of other technicians and laborers on the jobsite. Qualifications 2 years of experience in landscape construction or a related field. Knowledge of landscape construction practices and the ability to read and interpret plans. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Commitment to safety and quality control standards. Ability to adapt to changing jobsite conditions and perform a variety of tasks. Willingness to participate in snow removal operations during the winter season.
