As a Landscape Construction Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting the Foreman and ensuring that projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. This hands-on position offers the opportunity to develop your skills in landscape construction, work collaboratively with experienced professionals, and contribute to a positive work environment. Flexibility is key, as the role also includes participation in snow removal and ongoing training during the off-season. Responsibilities Assist the Foreman in supervising job sites to ensure project plans are executed efficiently and according to contract specifications. Perform a variety of landscape construction tasks, including installation of hardscapes, softscapes, irrigation systems, and other project components. Maintain high standards of quality control, ensuring all work meets design and contract requirements. Promote and maintain jobsite safety and cleanliness, ensuring a well-organized work environment. Communicate effectively with the Project Manager regarding project challenges, material and equipment needs, scheduling, and other concerns. Participate in snow removal services during the winter months to ensure client sites are safely maintained. Engage in ongoing training and equipment maintenance during slower seasons to support team development and operational readiness. Work collaboratively with team members on both residential and public job sites, fostering teamwork and problem-solving. Ensure all tools, materials, and equipment are properly loaded and secured before leaving job sites or the facility. Support the Foreman by overseeing the safe conduct of other team members on the jobsite. Qualifications 1-2 years of experience in landscape construction or a related field. Knowledge of landscape construction practices and the ability to read and interpret plans. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Commitment to safety and quality control standards. Ability to adapt to changing jobsite conditions and perform a variety of tasks. Willingness to participate in snow removal operations during the winter season. Ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects and working in various weather conditions. Ability to operate landscape construction tools and machinery.
