Overview We are seeking a motivated and energetic Landscape Maintenance Technician to join our team in Douglas, AZ. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the upkeep and beautification of a large apartment community. You will be responsible for ensuring the landscapes are healthy, attractive, and well-maintained, supporting the overall quality of life for our residents. Responsibilities Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as trimming and pruning using hand tools and power tools. Maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and system functionality. Use gardening and horticulture techniques to plant new greenery or replace damaged plants. Operate landscaping equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Assist with general property maintenance tasks related to landscaping and outdoor aesthetics. Outdoor property maintenance tasks including, but not limited to, exterior painting & building maintenance, gutter cleaning (buildings do not exceed 2 stories) Support seasonal planting, mulching, and weed control efforts to keep grounds vibrant year-round. Skills Knowledge of irrigation systems, landscape maintenance practices, and lawn care techniques. Experience with gardening, horticulture principles, and landscaping design basics. Proficiency in using hand tools such as pruners, shovels, rakes, and hoes. Ability to operate power tools like trimmers, power washers, & blowers safely. Strong understanding of maintenance procedures related to outdoor property upkeep. Excellent physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions. Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and report on project status. Must be comfortable using a ladder, not to exceed 2 stories in height As our company accepts federal dollars & this is a safety sensitive role, we have a zero tolerance policy for use of drugs, including marijuana.
