Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled ranch hand to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of horse care and landscape maintenance practices. This role involves a variety of tasks aimed at enhancing and maintaining the beauty and health of landscapes, gardens, and hardscapes as well as daily maintenance for the horses. The ranch hand will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure that all daily tasks and projects meet our high standards of quality. Perform routine landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging. Care for trees by pruning, fertilizing, and ensuring their overall health. Irrigate landscapes effectively to promote healthy plant growth. Cleaning and maintaining horse stalls. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for various landscaping tasks. Conduct groundskeeping duties to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of outdoor spaces. Assist in the installation and maintenance of hardscape features such as fencing, walkways, and retaining walls. Monitor the condition of plants and landscapes, identifying any issues or areas needing attention. Work with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to safety protocols. Proven experience in landscape maintenance, ranch hand work or a related field is preferred but not required. Familiarity with tree care techniques and lawn care practices is advantageous. Knowledge of irrigation systems and their maintenance is a plus. Proficient in using various hand tools and power tools relevant to landscaping work. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results. Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions while maintaining physical stamina for manual labor tasks. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
