AM Position Overview:

As the Ground Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the upkeep and landscaping of outdoor areas, parking lots, walkways, and surrounding property to ensure a clean, safe, and visually appealing environment. This role involves landscaping, irrigation system maintenance, snow removal, and general exterior repairs . The technician works with the facilities team to support overall property maintenance and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.

Responsibilities:

Performing lawn care, including but not limited to mowing, trimming, edging, fertilizing and aeration Maintaining trees, shrubs and flower bed by pruning, planting and mulching Removing weeds, debris, and litter from landscaped areas, sidewalks, and parking lots Monitoring and maintaining irrigation systems, ensuring proper watering and repairs when necessary Conducting seasonal maintenance, including but not limited to leaf removal, de-icing and snow removal Inspecting and maintaining walkways, driveways, parking lots and exterior signage for cleanliness and safety Performing minor repairs to fences, outdoor furniture and hardscape as needed Ensuring storm drains and gutters are clean and functioning properly Assisting with pest control efforts and monitoring for potential infestations Following all OSHA and company safety policies while operating landscaping tools and equipment Identifying and reporting hazards or damages to buildings, walkways and outdoor structures Using PPE when handling chemicals, power tools or snow removal equipment Operating and maintaining the following but not limited to: lawn mowers, trimmers, leaf blowers, chainsaws, and snowplows Performing routine maintenance on landscaping equipment, including but not limited to sharpening blades, changing oil, and replacing parts Ensuring all equipment is stored securely and in good working condition Responding to maintenance requests; on-call hours required Perform other duties as assigned by leadership

Schedule:

Monday

•Friday 7:00 am

•3:30 pm

Compensation:

$20.00

•$22.00 per hour

Environment:

Varying indoor and outdoor temperatures and weather conditions

Experience:
REQUIRED

•Must have a valid driver's license

Preferred:

Two (2) years of experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or exterior property maintenance

Preferred:

Basic knowledge of irrigation systems, pest control, and plant care

Preferred:

Experience with operating commercial landscaping equipment (mowers, trimmers, snowplow, etc)

Preferred:

Proficiency in English (written and verbal) to effectively communicate with associates and leadership

Skills:
Safety Culture:

Maintain and drive safety policies to all associates, driving for accountability of safe practices throughout the shift Physical abilities : May be required to lift up to 80-85lbs.; standing, bending, lifting and twisting for up to 90% of your shift; frequently lifting product from various heights including floor level to over your head; Ability to stand or walk at least 8-10 hours daily; working in various temperature controlled environments; the ability to operate required material handling equipment
