Job Description
Job Overview This is a weekend position, Saturdays and Sundays. Job description is geared toward fulltime position. We are seeking a motivated and energetic Grounds Keeper/Light Maintenance professional to maintain the beauty, safety, and functionality of our outdoor spaces. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring that facilities, lawns, and landscaped areas are well-kept and visually appealing while performing light maintenance tasks to keep the facility/grounds in top condition. Your enthusiasm for fixing things and eye for detail will contribute significantly to creating a welcoming environment for visitors and staff alike. This is a weekend position, Saturdays and Sundays. Duties ensure that all shared spaces are consistently maintained to a high standard, including: Landscaping and grounds maintenance Pool and recreational facilities Parking areas and exterior common elements General cleanliness, safety, and appearance of the propertty Daily Tasks Clean and sanitize bathrooms. Hose down the pool deck. Wipe tables and bar area. Clean grills. Blow stairwells and garage Patrol the property and pick up garbage. Stack chairs on the beach. Rearrange pool furniture. Pick up pool toys and store them at the south end. Clean the elevator. Check propane levels. Wipe down pool gates weekly/quarterly tasks Weekly Tasks Put trash cans out for pick up Quarterly Tasks Power wash floors Lihgt Maintenance Touch up painting (as needed) Qualifications Prior experience in landscape maintenance or gardening is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is valued Knowledge of irrigation systems, lawn care practices, and landscaping techniques Ability to operate hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, as well as power tools like trimmers and blowers safely Familiarity with horticulture principles and gardening best practices Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow safety procedures during maintenance tasks Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions including standing, walking, bending, and lifting Join us in maintaining our beautiful outdoor envthat inspire pride and enjoyment!
