Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Landscape Maintenance Technician and play a vital role in creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor environments. In this energetic position, you will be responsible for performing a variety of groundskeeping and landscaping tasks to ensure landscapes are healthy, vibrant, and visually appealing. Your expertise will help enhance the natural beauty of outdoor spaces while adhering to safety standards and best practices. Responsibilities Perform landscape maintenance activities including mowing, edging, trimming, and pruning to keep grounds well-groomed and healthy Operate grounds maintenance equipment such as lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and power tools safely and efficiently Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting, repairing, and adjusting sprinklers to ensure proper watering schedules Identify various plants, trees, shrubs, and flowers to support proper care and landscape design Manage pest control by applying pesticides responsibly following safety protocols and environmental guidelines Execute hardscape tasks such as installing or repairing pathways, retaining walls, or decorative features as needed Conduct seasonal tasks like snow plowing or clearing debris to keep outdoor areas safe and accessible during adverse weather conditions Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate a variety of landscaping and groundskeeping equipment Extensive experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, and groundskeeping techniques Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and specialized landscaping equipment Knowledge of plant identification, horticulture principles, and lawn care practices Familiarity with pesticide management protocols and safety procedures Ability to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards Experience with irrigation systems installation, troubleshooting, and repairs Excellent understanding of safety protocol adherence when operating machinery or handling chemicals Prior experience in tree care, tree trimming, lawn care, or hardscape installation is highly desirable Join us in transforming outdoor spaces into vibrant landscapes that inspire!
