Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Landscape Gardener to join our dynamic team dedicated to creating and maintaining stunning outdoor environments. In this role, you will be responsible for cultivating beautiful landscapes, performing grounds maintenance, and ensuring that all plantings and features thrive. Your expertise will help transform outdoor spaces into vibrant, sustainable, and welcoming areas that delight clients and visitors alike. Responsibilities Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, pruning, mulching, planting, and weeding to keep outdoor spaces healthy and attractive Operate grounds maintenance and landscaping equipment such as power tools, lawnmowers, trimmers, and irrigation systems with safety and precision Identify various plant species, including native plants, and assess their health for optimal growth Manage plant pest control and pesticide applications in accordance with safety regulations to protect plant health Install and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of landscapes Use hand tools effectively for planting, digging, trimming, and other gardening tasks Communicate with management regarding landscape plans, maintenance schedules, and plant care recommendations to ensure satisfaction Support sustainable practices by incorporating native plants and environmentally friendly gardening techniques Experience Proven experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture roles with a strong understanding of plant care and landscape design principles Hands-on experience operating grounds maintenance equipment including power tools Irrigation experience is a plus. Knowledge of plant identification, growing techniques, soil management, and pest control methods Familiarity with greenhouse practices is a plus for understanding plant propagation and cultivation Previous work involving native plants or sustainable landscaping projects is desirable Join us in shaping beautiful outdoor environments!
