We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking employee to join our landscape / hardscapes crew. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and possess the skills necessary to build, maintain and enhance various landscapes. This role involves hands-on tasks that contribute to the overall appearance and maintenance of residential and commercial properties. Duties Assist in building and maintaining landscape features such as paver patio's, retaining walls, pathways, flower beds. Adding the finishing touch to projects with landscape lighting, edgers, tree's / shrubs, decorative rock. Prepare construction sites, including grading and setting the base foundation of hardscapes features. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various landscaping tasks. Ensure all equipment is properly cleaned, maintained and stored after use. Operate machinery and equipment to move materials, perform construction activities, or complete other tasks. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely. Follow safety protocols while operating machinery and handling tool Requirements Candidate should have a solid background in landscape construction, an eye for detail, strong problem-solving skills. A must is honesty, integrity, dependable, works well with others, a self-starter, and great communication skills. Experience with hand tools and power tools commonly used in landscaping. Practical experience in operating machinery, driving trucks, towing trailers. Basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues. Strong end-to-end understanding of groundskeeping practices. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions for extended periods. Physical stamina to lift heavy materials and perform manual labor tasks. Attention to detail to ensure high-quality results, no matter the size of the project. A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills. A strong team player that takes pride in their work and enjoys the successes of accomplishing projects. Proven experience in hardscaping or similar role. Ability to float between projects and teams Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and tools involved in hardscaping. Property care activities including fertilization, aeration, planting A plus - Experience in managing projects and leading teams, possibly suited for a leadership role.
