Overview We are seeking energetic and detail-oriented Overseeding Lawn Crew Members to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a vital part in enhancing the health and appearance of lawns through overseeding techniques, supporting overall landscape maintenance efforts, and ensuring high standards of safety and quality. Responsibilities Prepare lawns for overseeding by removing debris, aerating soil, and applying necessary amendments. Operate hand tools, power tools, and groundskeeping equipment safely and efficiently during overseeding projects. Spread seed evenly across designated areas using appropriate machinery and manual techniques. Assist with related landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, and irrigation system adjustments. Identify various plant types and assess lawn conditions to determine optimal overseeding strategies. Follow safety protocols diligently to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and team members. Support the maintenance of equipment, including cleaning, basic repairs, and proper storage after use. Requirements Previous outdoor work experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or lawn care is preferred. Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with landscape maintenance equipment operation are highly desirable. Ability to identify plants, pests, and common lawn issues; knowledge of horticulture is a plus. Experience with irrigation systems, power tools, excavators, or tree care equipment is advantageous. Strong understanding of safety procedures related to grounds maintenance and landscaping tasks. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude.
