For over 30 years, Ponseti Landscaping has created and maintained residential and commercial landscapes throughout the New Orleans area, including Uptown, Lakeview, the Garden District, and Old Metairie. We take pride in doing quality work and creating outdoor spaces that our customers are proud of. We are looking for team members who aren't afraid of physical work, can work outdoors, show up ready to work, and want to be part of a crew that takes pride in the finished job. Experience in landscaping is a plus, but we are willing to consider motivated applicants who are dependable and willing to learn. What You'll Do Responsibilities may include: Lawn cutting and edging Trimming and pruning shrubs, plants, and small trees Pulling weeds and maintaining flower beds Installing mulch, soil, plants, flowers, and sod Landscape and garden installation Property and yard cleanups Assisting with drainage installation Assisting with irrigation systems Installing landscape materials Loading and unloading plants, soil, tools, and materials Using landscaping tools and equipment safely Cleaning and maintaining job sites Helping crew members complete landscaping projects Performing other outdoor and landscaping duties as needed Our projects can range from regular landscape maintenance to complete garden installations, drainage systems, irrigation, lighting, and hardscape work. What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who: Shows up on time and ready to work Is dependable and takes attendance seriously Can work well as part of a crew Is comfortable working outdoors in New Orleans weather Can perform physical labor throughout the workday Can lift and carry landscaping materials and equipment Pays attention to instructions and details Takes pride in doing a job correctly Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic Can work safely around tools and equipment Landscaping, lawn maintenance, construction, drainage, irrigation, or other outdoor labor experience is helpful but not required for the right person. Physical Requirements This is a hands-on outdoor position.
