Job Description
Part-Time Gardener Moersch Hospitality Group Position Overview Moersch Hospitality Group is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Part-Time Gardener to help maintain the gardens, flower beds, planters, and landscaped areas throughout our hospitality properties. This is a hands-on outdoor position focused on keeping our gardens healthy, attractive, and guest-ready throughout the growing season. Responsibilities Plant and maintain flowers, plants, shrubs, and garden beds. Weed, mulch, edge, and maintain landscaped areas. Water plants, gardens, and planters as needed. Prune and trim plants, shrubs, and flowers. Remove dead or damaged plant material. Monitor gardens for signs of pests, disease, or other plant health concerns. Assist with seasonal planting and garden cleanup. Maintain attractive planters, entrances, patios, and other guest-facing landscaped areas. Keep garden areas clean and free of weeds, leaves, and debris. Properly use and care for basic gardening tools and equipment. Communicate plant, supply, or maintenance needs to management. Qualifications Previous gardening, landscaping, horticulture, or related experience preferred. Basic knowledge of flowers, plants, shrubs, and seasonal garden care. Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. Ability to work independently and manage daily gardening priorities. Dependable and comfortable working outdoors. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds. Ability to frequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and crouch. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to safely use basic gardening tools and equipment. Schedule Part-Time / Seasonal Schedule will vary based on weather, seasonal needs, and property requirements. Morning and weekday availability is preferred.
