artender Round Barn Estate Position Overview Round Barn Estate is seeking energetic, personable, and highly efficient Bartenders to join our hospitality team. As a high-volume outdoor destination featuring wine, beer, spirits, cocktails, food, live entertainment, and special events, our Bartenders play a key role in delivering fast, friendly, and memorable guest experiences. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in busy environments, enjoy engaging with guests, and can maintain speed, accuracy, and hospitality during periods of extremely high volume. Bartenders must be comfortable working outdoors, managing multiple drink orders at once, and collaborating closely with servers, barbacks, kitchen staff, and management. Key Responsibilities Prepare and serve wine, beer, cocktails, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently. Provide friendly, engaging, and knowledgeable service to all guests. Maintain strong knowledge of Round Barn wines, beers, spirits, cocktails, and other beverage offerings. Make appropriate beverage recommendations based on guest preferences. Manage a high volume of guest and service-bar orders while maintaining accuracy and presentation standards. Accurately enter orders and process payments using the point-of-sale system. Verify guest identification and follow all responsible alcohol service requirements. Monitor guest consumption and recognize situations requiring responsible service intervention. Maintain a clean, organized, stocked, and sanitary bar throughout the shift. Complete opening, closing, stocking, and side-work responsibilities. Restock beer, wine, liquor, mixers, glassware, ice, and other supplies as needed. Communicate effectively with servers, barbacks, kitchen staff, and management to support efficient operations. Assist with bussing, cleaning, stocking, and other operational needs during peak business periods. Follow established recipes, portion standards, and company procedures. Maintain accurate cash handling and payment processing practices. Help create the energetic, welcoming atmosphere that defines the Round Barn Estate experience. Qualifications Previous bartending experience strongly preferred, particularly in a high-volume environment. Knowledge of wine, beer, spirits, and basic cocktail preparation. Strong communication and guest-service skills. Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure. Strong multitasking and organizational skills. Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude during high-volume service. Strong teamwork mentality and willingness to assist throughout the operation. Dependable, punctual, and available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, holidays, concerts, and special events. Ability to meet all applicable legal and company requirements for serving alcoholic beverages. Work Environment & Physical Requirements This position primarily operates in a fast-paced, high-volume outdoor hospitality environment. Team members should be prepared to work in varying seasonal weather conditions, including heat, sun, humidity, wind, and cooler temperatures. The position requires the ability to: Stand and move for extended periods throughout the shift. Frequently bend, reach, twist, and lift. Safely lift and carry cases of beverages, ice, kegs, glassware, and bar supplies. Regularly lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Work efficiently in crowded and fast-moving bar areas. Maintain focus, professionalism, and attention to detail during prolonged periods of high-volume service.
