Job Summary Madisons Landscapes is looking for a dependable, motivated Landscape Crew Member to join our growing team. We are looking for someone who can start this landscape season, work with us through the winter snow season, and return ready to go for the 2027 landscape season. This is intended to be a long-term opportunity for the right person, not just a temporary fall position. Our work includes landscape installations and renovations, retaining walls, drainage, grading, sod, rock and mulch, property cleanups, equipment work, and snow & ice management. Previous landscaping or construction experience is a plus, but we're willing to train the right person. Work ethic, dependability, attitude, and willingness to learn are extremely important to us. Responsibilities Assist with landscape installation and renovation projects Install sod, mulch, decorative rock, edging, plants, and other landscape materials Assist with retaining walls, grading, drainage, hardscapes, and outdoor construction Perform property cleanups and landscape maintenance Load, unload, and move materials on jobsites Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and landscape equipment Learn to operate mini skid steers and attachments when qualified Assist with trucks, trailers, material handling, and jobsite setup Keep jobsites, trucks, trailers, tools, and equipment clean and organized Follow company procedures and safety requirements Communicate effectively with crew leaders and other team members Perform snow and ice management during the winter, including plowing support, snow blowing, shoveling, and deicing What We're Looking For Dependable attendance and punctuality Strong work ethic and willingness to work Comfortable performing physical outdoor work Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibility Ability to work effectively as part of a crew Respect for customers, properties, tools, trucks, and equipment Reliable transportation to and from work Valid driver's license preferred Landscaping, construction, hardscaping, equipment, trailer, or similar experience is preferred but not required Pay & Career Growth Starting pay: $20-$25+ per hour depending on experience, skills, and ability. Seasonal Schedule We are hiring now for the remainder of the 2026 landscape season. Our goal is to keep the right candidate working with us through winter snow & ice management and have them return as a key member of our team for the full 2027 landscape season.
