Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active and valid IL SLP License (required for assignment) Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP - CCC) Experience working with school-aged children, particularly elementary students, is highly valued Knowledge of IEP process and ability to collaborate with educators, administrators, and families Familiarity with state and district guidelines for school-based SLPs Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver individualized and group therapy to students in elementary grades Conduct assessments to determine speech, language, and communication needs Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with state and district requirements Consult with teachers, staff, and parents to support student success across settings Participate in team meetings, professional development, and school events as needed
