Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Full-Time Golf Course Grounds Crew member and be a vital part of maintaining a pristine, playable, and visually stunning golf course environment. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for ensuring the course's landscape is healthy, safe, and aesthetically appealing. Your efforts will directly contribute to delivering an exceptional experience for golfers and visitors alike. This position offers the opportunity to work outdoors in a fast-paced setting, utilizing your skills in groundskeeping, landscaping, and equipment operation to keep the course in top condition. Responsibilities Maintain the health and appearance of fairways, greens, tees, and surrounding landscapes through mowing, edging, fertilizing, and watering. Operate grounds maintenance equipment such as mowers, trimmers, chainsaws . Help with irrigation repairs. Conduct regular landscape maintenance tasks including planting, pruning, aerating, and pest management to sustain vibrant turf and plant life. Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting, manual handling of materials, and using hand tools for various groundskeeping projects. Maintain equipment through routine inspections and basic repairs to ensure safety and operational efficiency. Support overall golf course aesthetics by performing gardening tasks and ensuring safety standards with power tool safety protocols. Qualifications Prior experience with golf course groundskeeping or athletic field groundskeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Ability to operate landscaping equipment including power tools such as chainsaws, trimmers, and lawnmowers safely. Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks regularly. Ability to work in all conditions (hot and cold) Valid driver's license with experience operating company vehicles or grounds maintenance equipment preferred.
