Job Summary Central Bark is currently searching for a part-time bather! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for providing high quality professional bathing services to dogs of all breeds and sizes, ensuring each pet looks and feels their best. You will be working with a team of two other awesome employees bringing dogs through the bathing process, including washing, shampooing, drying and brushing dogs. This job is incredibly easy to pickup, but does require that you are in good physical condition as some lifting and frequent bending over is required. Currently we are looking to fill two part-time positions, one 5 days a week 11-4PM , and the other Tuesday-Thursday 10AM-2PM with additional fill-in days possible. This position requires no experience - all training takes place on-site and after your training period (usually about 2 weeks) pay is bumped up to 17/hr. All we ask is that you are comfortable working around dogs of all shapes and sizes! Responsibilities Safely handle dogs during bathing, and drying processes using proper animal restraint techniques Quickly and efficiently bathe and groom dogs of all shapes & sizes to our professional standards using the training provided. Skills Physically able to lift up to 50lbs and able to frequently bend over (bending over-top of dogs for bathing and drying) Comfortable around all dog breeds and temperaments Feel free to apply online or swing by our shop and say hi!
