Duties Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, planting, pruning, and edging to keep outdoor spaces pristine and inviting Operate grounds maintenance equipment such as lawnmowers, power tools, excavators, and irrigation systems safely and efficiently Identify various plants, trees, and shrubs to ensure proper care and health; manage pest control using appropriate pesticide management techniques Install and repair hardscape features like pathways, patios, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures to enhance landscape functionality Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting, repairing, and adjusting sprinklers to ensure optimal watering schedules Follow strict safety protocols during all outdoor work activities to prevent accidents and promote a safe work environment Assist with seasonal tasks such as snow plowing during winter months or additional construction projects as needed Experience Proven outdoor work experience in landscaping or grounds maintenance environments Mechanical knowledge of landscaping equipment, power tools, irrigation systems, and construction machinery such as excavators Strong understanding of horticulture principles including plant identification, lawn care practices, tree trimming, and garden management Familiarity with landscape construction techniques including hardscape installation and grounds improvement projects Ability to operate grounds maintenance machinery safely while adhering to safety protocols Prior experience with pesticide management and pest control methods preferred but not required Demonstrated ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina and attention to detail Join us in transforming outdoor spaces into beautiful landscapes!
