Overview Join our dynamic groundskeeping team as a Lawn Care Worker and play a vital role in maintaining beautiful, healthy outdoor spaces. Duties Operate lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other power tools to maintain lawns, gardens, and landscaped areas Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, pruning, tree trimming, and shrubbery care Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues as needed Use hand tools and groundskeeping equipment safely and efficiently for planting, edging, and hardscape maintenance Conduct grounds maintenance including snow plowing during winter months and debris removal for safety and cleanliness Identify plants, pests, and diseases to ensure healthy growth; apply pesticides or fertilizers following safety protocols Maintain equipment through regular inspections, cleaning, and minor repairs to ensure optimal performance Qualifications Proven outdoor work experience with groundskeeping or landscaping preferred Mechanical knowledge related to power tools and landscaping equipment operation Familiarity with landscape maintenance techniques including mowing, pruning, planting, and hardscape upkeep Ability to identify various plants and understand basic horticulture principles Knowledge of pesticide management and safety protocol adherence when handling chemicals Experience with irrigation systems installation or troubleshooting is a plus Strong commitment to safety procedures and proper use of hand tools and power equipment Embark on a career that combines physical activity with creative outdoor work!
