We are seeking a friendly, outgoing, and customer focused Certified Pharmacy Technician to work full time in our retail department. In this role, you will be a key part of our pharmacy team, collaborating with our staff pharmacists to ensure smooth and efficient operations. The ideal candidate will be proficient in all pharmacy duties with a strong emphasis on excellent customer service. Responsibilities include:

Medication and patient data entry, including prescription entry, filling, labeling, and assisting with verification processes Processing medication transfers Delivering excellent customer service to patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers Collaborating with pharmacists and coworkers to maintain an efficient and accurate workflow Supporting medication packaging when needed Managing inventory tasks such as ordering, restocking, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment Handling point of sale duties Resolving insurance issues, assisting with prior authorization information, and troubleshooting claims Utilizing PioneerRx software for daily tasks (experience preferred but not required) Assisting with other pharmacy related tasks as needed

Qualifications:

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) required Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and reliability Ability to multitask and work well in a fast paced, team oriented environment Dependable and professional attitude Experience in retail pharmacy is preferred Experience with PioneerRx is a plus Must be able to work until 6:00 PM during the week and rotate 9:00 to 1:00 on
