Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Landscape Laborer and play a vital role in creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces! This energetic position involves hands-on work in landscape maintenance, groundskeeping, and landscaping projects. You will assist with planting, pruning, mowing, and the operation of various grounds maintenance equipment. Duties Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, trimming, and planting to ensure healthy and attractive outdoor environments Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for tasks such as pruning, digging, planting, and ground leveling Maintain irrigation systems by installing, repairing, and adjusting sprinklers to ensure proper watering of landscapes Identify various plants, trees, shrubs, and pests to support healthy landscape growth and pest management efforts Perform groundskeeping duties such as leaf removal, debris cleanup, fertilization, and soil preparation Support tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and basic tree health assessments Follow all safety protocols diligently to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and team members Qualifications Must have valid driver's license Ability to obtain DOT card Previous outdoor work experience or background in landscaping or grounds maintenance preferred Mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment operation and basic repairs Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices including mowing, gardening, tree trimming, and lawn care Ability to operate hand tools (shovels, rakes) and power tools (trimmers, blowers) safely Knowledge of irrigation systems installation and troubleshooting is a plus Strong understanding of horticulture principles and plant identification skills Ability to adhere to safety protocols at all times during outdoor work activities Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude towards learning new techniques in landscaping and groundskeeping Join us today to help transform outdoor spaces into vibrant landscapes!
