RiverWoods Manchester, a mission-driven, non-profit CCRC, is seeking a full-time Landscape Specialist to maintain safe, beautiful grounds for our senior living campus. Responsibilities include mowing, pruning, planting, snow removal, walkways and parking lot upkeep, and operating/maintaining landscaping equipment. You'll support seasonal displays, irrigation, and minor hardscape work while following safety and environmental standards. Work closely with maintenance and nursing teams to ensure outdoor areas are accessible and welcoming for residents, families, and staff. Responsibilities Maintain campus grounds including mowing, trimming, pruning, weeding, and planting Perform snow removal and de-icing for walkways, entrances, and parking areas Install and care for seasonal plantings, trees, shrubs, and turf Operate and maintain landscaping tools and power equipment safely Support irrigation system checks and basic repairs Assist with minor hardscape tasks such as paths, borders, and outdoor seating areas Monitor grounds for safety hazards and address or report them promptly Collaborate with maintenance and nursing teams to maintain accessible outdoor areas for residents Follow safety, environmental, and infection control guidelines Provide courteous, respectful service to residents, families, and visitors Required Skills Grounds maintenance Horticulture basics Snow removal operations Small engine and equipment operation Irrigation system basics Plant identification and care Hardscape installation and repair basics Safety and OSHA compliance Outdoor power tools maintenance Time management
