Position Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Softscapes Specialist to bring vibrant, healthy, and beautifully maintained landscapes to life. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, upkeep, and enhancement of softscape elements such as lawns, gardens, flower beds, and other plantings. Your expertise will help create inviting outdoor environments that inspire and delight. Responsibilities Plant, water, fertilize, prune, and maintain a variety of softscape elements including lawns, shrubs, flowers, and ground covers using appropriate gardening techniques. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to perform landscape maintenance tasks. Implement irrigation systems to ensure optimal watering schedules for all plantings. Monitor plant health regularly, identify pests or diseases early, and apply treatments as needed. Assist with greenhouse activities such as transplanting seedlings or managing plant growth environments. Support landscape design projects by preparing soil beds and installing new plantings according to specifications. Maintain cleanliness of work areas and ensure all equipment is properly stored and maintained. Qualifications Proven experience in gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance with a focus on softscape elements. Knowledge of irrigation systems, greenhouse management, and growing techniques. Familiarity with lawn care practices including mowing, aeration, fertilization, and weed control. Ability to operate hand tools (shovels, pruners) and power tools (trimmers, blowers) safely. Strong understanding of plant health management and pest control methods. Previous experience in farming or agriculture is a plus. Excellent physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions. Effective communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
