Job Description

Job Overview Camilla Landscape Design is a growing landscape design firm in upper Westchester County, NY providing installation and maintenance of beautiful landscapes for our clients. We are seeking Landscapers to join our crew for the 2026 season and beyond! We guarantee 47.5 hours of paid time to our crew members, as long as they are available to work, between April 1 and November 30. We also provide as many hours as we can before and after those dates, weather permitting. That means our crew receives reliable pay, including overtime, throughout an extended season. This role involves working outdoors in various weather conditions to ensure that landscapes are healthy, attractive, and well-maintained. The ideal candidate will have a passion for gardening, horticulture, and landscape maintenance, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail. There is an opportunity to grow into a crew leader role, and to cross-train with crew members who concentrate primarily in masonry. Duties Perform landscape installations and maintenance including planting/transplanting, trimming, pruning, mulching, and edging lawns and gardens. We do not presently do a great deal of mowing turf, but that is also an occasional duty. Operate power tools such as trimmers, blowers, and other landscaping equipment safely and efficiently Use hand tools for planting, weeding, mulching, and other gardening tasks Conduct routine maintenance of landscaping equipment and tools Monitor plant health and perform basic horticultural tasks to promote healthy growth Ensure outdoor spaces are clean, safe, and visually appealing at all times Provide assistance with basic masonry tasks from time to time Qualifications Prior experience in landscaping or horticulture is required Ability to operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively Basic understanding of gardening, horticulture, and plant care principles Physical ability to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions including standing for extended periods, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, and walking across uneven terrain Pesticide certification in NY and/or CT would be a plus, but not required Ability and willingness to drive medium-duty vehicles like a dump truck or box truck would also be a plus, but not required Experience operating earth-moving equipment such as skid-steer loaders and excavators would be a plus, but not required Reliable work ethic with the ability to follow instructions independently or as part of a team This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about outdoor work and landscape aesthetics.
