Responsibilities Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, planting, and fertilizing to keep grounds healthy and visually appealing Operate groundskeeping and landscaping equipment such as power tools, lawn mowers, trimmers, and irrigation systems safely and efficiently Identify plants, trees, shrubs, and pests to ensure proper care and pest management practices are followed Maintain hardscape features like walkways, patios, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures with appropriate tools and techniques Conduct tree trimming and pruning to promote healthy growth while adhering to safety protocols Manage irrigation systems for optimal water distribution and troubleshoot issues as needed Follow safety procedures diligently during all outdoor work activities to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment Skills Strong mechanical knowledge of landscaping equipment and power tools for efficient operation and maintenance Experience in landscape maintenance, groundskeeping, gardening, and lawn care practices Ability to identify various plants, pests, and diseases relevant to horticulture and pest management Knowledge of irrigation systems installation, troubleshooting, and repair techniques Familiarity with hardscape construction and maintenance including stonework or paving projects Hands-on experience with tree trimming, pruning techniques, and arboricultural practices Understanding of safety protocols related to outdoor work environments and equipment operation Excellent outdoor work experience with a focus on grounds maintenance and landscaping projects Ability to follow detailed instructions for pesticide management while adhering to safety standards Embark on a rewarding career where your skills help shape stunning landscapes!
