7:00am - 3:30pm Monday - Friday Position Summary We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Groundskeeper to maintain the exterior grounds, landscaping, parking areas, walkways, and general outdoor appearance of our manufacturing facility. Our facility mixes chemical ingredients, bottles and packages beauty products, labels finished products, and prepares orders for shipment. The Groundskeeper is responsible for helping maintain a clean, safe, organized, and professional environment around the plant while following all applicable safety and chemical-handling procedures. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, pays close attention to detail, works well independently, and understands the importance of maintaining a safe manufacturing environment. Essential Responsibilities Maintain lawns, landscaped areas, trees, shrubs, flower beds, and other plant areas. Mow, trim, edge, weed, prune, and perform other routine landscaping duties. Maintain sidewalks, parking lots, driveways, loading areas, and exterior walkways. Remove leaves, branches, trash, debris, and other materials from the facility grounds. Keep entrances, employee areas, visitor areas, and exterior work areas clean and presentable. Empty and maintain outdoor trash and waste receptacles as assigned. Monitor exterior areas for safety hazards, damaged pavement, standing water, debris, or other conditions requiring attention. Assist with snow and ice removal, when applicable. Apply fertilizer, weed-control products, or other approved landscaping materials in accordance with company procedures and applicable regulations. Use and maintain lawn equipment, hand tools, power tools, and other groundskeeping equipment safely. Perform routine inspections of outdoor areas and report maintenance concerns to the appropriate supervisor. Assist the Facilities and Maintenance teams with general building and property maintenance projects as needed. Maintain outdoor drainage areas and help prevent debris from blocking drains.
