Overview Join our dynamic team as a Crew Leader in Lawn Maintenance and lead outdoor landscaping projects with energy and expertise! In this role, you will oversee a dedicated crew responsible for maintaining beautiful lawns and landscapes. Your leadership will ensure high-quality groundskeeping, irrigation management, and hardscape construction while fostering a positive team environment. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily lawn care, landscape maintenance, and gardening activities to ensure timely and quality execution of projects. Lead crew members in operating grounds maintenance equipment and landscaping tools safely and efficiently. Identify various plants, trees, shrubs, and groundcover to ensure proper care and landscape design adherence. Provide guidance on groundskeeping best practices while ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times. Manage crew, assign tasks effectively, and motivate team members to meet project goals with enthusiasm and professionalism. Qualifications 5+ years experience. English and Spanish is a must. Provide a Drivers License. Clean Driving history. Proven experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or groundskeeping with a strong understanding of horticulture principles. Demonstrated supervising or team management experience in outdoor settings or landscaping projects. Skilled in operating landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hardscape machinery; valid driver's license with company vehicle operation required. Familiarity with hardscaping construction projects including patios, pathways, retaining walls, and other outdoor features. Strong leadership qualities with the ability to manage a crew effectively while maintaining safety standards. Experience in tree care practices and general grounds maintenance is a plus. Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions; physically capable of performing manual labor tasks related to landscaping and construction projects.
